Warhammer Online cancels 4 cities and 3 classes. Granted, the classes are no big loss, but culling content pre-release can bite badly, even if it does not affect players much. Here is hoping the cities will be in-game before the inevitable "Waah the game is boring, nothing to do, WoW is better" shyte-fests start in earnest.

PW is as good as dead by now, even my game partner's had enough of it.

DDO's latest content update (Mod 7) has confirmed that Turbine's sole focus is to make a game that will beat WoW in terms of hours of grind needed to be able to actually play the game's end content. A couple of days ago a group finally beat the Orchard of the Macabre raid on the elite, first ever on our server. Not a single "raid item" dropped. My (conservative) estimate is a solid two weeks of loot runs would be needed just to make up the money spent on healing scrolls and so on. I don't know about those guys but if it were me, that would be enough to /ragequit. DDO players are an odd bunch though, they keep going back to the beast they know even while complaning how bored they are of it all. That said, I am starting to think that the majority of the active player base are plat farmers, rather than just a half. Oh well.

AoC... pretty but boring boring boring BOOOOOORING. Not only one needs to fetch ten rat tails, it can take half an hour to get to the rats and come back. Oh yeah, well done, great job, now fetch me five *black* rat tails... *sigh*... At least I did not hit it like a ten-ton hammer like some people who already have 2 or 3 capped characters and are wondering what to do.

On top of everything else, my current semi-permanently frustration is spilling over the top and affecting people around me. Some days I feel like getting a life.

Hm.. nah... I'm not that desperate. Yet.
